Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Art Teacher to inspire young learners from Kindergarten to 5th grade. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to design engaging art curricula that promote creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression. The ideal candidate will bring classroom management expertise, experience working with children, and a love for nurturing young minds through artistic exploration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate art lesson plans and Biblical integration through Art
- Create a vibrant classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging learning space.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, upcoming projects, and classroom activities.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
Skills
- Experience teaching art to young children in preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Ability to develop creative curricula
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
