Security Officer
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Associate in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in assigned reports.

Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders during critical situations while following Allied Universal post orders and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

A TSA-issued TWIC is required.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
