We are a family-owned miscellaneous metals company located in the Trooper/Collegeville, PA area, specializing in the fabrication and installation of miscellaneous metals and small structural steel projects. As a full-service metal fabrication shop, we are committed to delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Field Lead/ Installer to join our team.
Position Summary
The Field Lead / Installer will oversee and work as part of a small field crew to install miscellaneous metals and structural steel components safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive field experience, welding knowledge, and the ability to reliably read an interpret plans and drawings. The candidate will also possess a drive to perform quality work in an efficient and safe manner, delivering projects on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading a field team of 2 to 3 workers.
- Welding of structural metal components and assemblies, including cutting, forming, welding with gas and arc torches.
- Must be able to read blueprints and erection drawings accurately.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as lasers, tape measures, and chalk lines to ensure quality control of finished products.
- Ability to work in a team environment as part of a small group production process.
Qualifications:
- Must be a critical thinker, with strong motivational abilities
- Experienced as a field lead.
- Physical Strength and Stamina needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of welding, steel installation and/or ironworker experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
