Job Summary
As an Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our precision measurement products. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components, and finished goods to verify they meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products using specialized measurement tools and equipment
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformances, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed inspection records and reports to support quality control processes
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve inspection procedures and methods
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse environment
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment
- Familiarity with quality control principles and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification is preferred
Working Conditions
This is a temporary, contract position based in our warehouse facility. The work environment involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating material handling equipment. A flexible schedule, including potential weekend shifts, may be required.
Compensation
$17.50 per hour
