Guiry’s, a local retailer of paint, decorating and fine art supplies is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Driver for our Westminster, Colorado location.
Family owned and operated since 1899, Guiry’s has been one of Colorado's & New Mexico's premier paint retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service.
Our Associate/ Drivers work closely with painting contractors and retail customers. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the paint industry and be familiar with paints, stains, primers and residential and commercial paints. But that is not a requirement, we can train. The primary focus of this position is provided excellent customer service.
Responsibilities of the Paint Associate include:
- Loading and unloading trucks with paint and paint sundries
- Paint Deliveries (Must have a valid driver’s license and good MVR)
- Put away new merchandise – rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed.
- Assisting customers with colors and all necessary supplies for their projects.
- Mixing and matching colors
- Handle credit and cash transactions.
- Maintain department cleanliness
- Assist other store staff as needed
- Hours are generally M-F 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM - flexibility for other hours shifts on occasion
Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere: Other strengths include:

- Must be able to lift 75lbs.
- Experience working with color and paint is preferred.
