Position Details:
- Pay Range: $17.50 - $22 per hour (dependent on licensure)
- Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed
- Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks or vans (up to 26,000 GVW) to deliver materials to customers within designated areas.
- Verify shipments, ensure accurate load documentation, and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain all delivery records electronically and adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading inventory, including physical lifting and maneuvering materials around warehouses and trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts in compliance with safety standards.
- Cultivate positive customer relations and identify opportunities for sales and service improvements.
- Communicate customer feedback effectively to management, including service issues, complaints, or potential opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment with punctual attendance.
- Perform additional duties as required to support team operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and handling materials.
- Valid, appropriate driver’s license issued by your state.
- Ability to pass DOT medical exams and obtain necessary certifications.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, safe loading procedures, and city traffic patterns.
- Moderate mechanical aptitude for vehicle inspections and basic repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform physical tasks, and operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work safely in various weather conditions and adapt to seasonal temperature changes.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Exposure to road traffic, weather variations, and warehouse conditions such as dust, heat, and cold.
- Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Operating and maneuvering equipment in line with safety guidelines.
