Responsibilities:
Receive and direct patient phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in and out patients, obtain necessary patient information and update records, ensure all forms and consents are completed, collect payments, verifying insurance, registering patients and updating data, assist with referral processing, prepare patients for examination, take vitals, record patient health history, set-up biopsies, administer injections of local anesthesia, perform routine specimen collection, prepare equipment and examination rooms, clean instruments, Assist dermatologist with medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments, must be capable of using electronic medical records, able to scribe, process co-pays,
Experience in general dermatology or surgical dermatology is a plus
Salary level based on experience
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
