Description
This position is hourly in the plant facility. The position is responsible for packaging by hand a wide variety of products and materials while ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness of all job functions.
Possible promotion to machine operator!

1st shift M-F 6am-4:30pm (50 hours)

Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Counts, measures, and weighs materials and products
· Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling
· Constructs and seals boxes using hand tape gun
· Examines containers/boxes, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met
· Applies labels to containers, bags, boxes or products
· Enters packing, order and product information into inventory system or other documents
· Stacks boxes on pallets
· Always organizes work center for orderliness
· Willingness to share new ideas to make processes better
· Willingness to work in a team environment
· Regular attendance is required
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Valid driver’s license
· Reliable transportation
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to follow instructions
· Reliable, responsible, dependable at fulfilling obligations
· Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans
· Ability to assess products for quality compliance
· Good time management skills
· Basic computer and math skills
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
