Job Summary:
Texas Ace Heating & Air is looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a residential service position focused on diagnostics, repair, and customer-facing field work.
We are a well-established HVAC company serving homeowners throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Our technicians dispatch from home daily and are only required to report to our Midlothian office on Wednesday mornings for team meetings, training, and communication.
You do not need to live near Midlothian to be considered. We are open to qualified technicians throughout the DFW Metroplex who are professional, reliable, and able to serve customers across our service area.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- As an HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems. You will work directly with homeowners to provide professional service, clear communication, and trusted solutions.
- Perform residential HVAC service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Troubleshoot common and complex HVAC system issues
- Complete system performance evaluations and preventive maintenance inspections
- Identify needed repairs and communicate findings clearly with homeowners
- Provide honest recommendations based on system condition and customer needs
- Maintain accurate paperwork, invoices, and service documentation
- Work safely and follow all company and industry safety standards
- Communicate with managers, dispatch, and team members as needed
- Participate in a team-based environment focused on customer satisfaction
- Work overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- 2–6 years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience
- EPA certification required
- Valid TDLR card required
- Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- NATE certification a plus, but not required
