1 ACE Property is seeking a dependable Temporary Groundskeeper to support daily outdoor maintenance and assist with multiple property improvement projects. This role is hands-on, physical, and ideal for someone experienced with landscaping, light construction, and outdoor equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal
- Walkway, parking area, and common space upkeep
- Seasonal tasks: leaf removal, storm cleanup, snow/ice management (if needed)
- Outdoor equipment and storage organization
- Reporting hazards, maintenance needs, and safety concerns
- Supporting property staff with miscellaneous outdoor tasks
Project Work Scope
This temporary role includes assisting with several active improvement projects on the property:
- Shed Repair — structural patching, panel replacement, paint touch-ups
- Deck Repair — board replacement, sanding, sealing, safety reinforcement
- Forest Underbrush Removal — clearing invasive plants, fallen limbs, and dense brush
- Sprinkler & Drip Line Installation — trenching, laying lines, connecting emitters, testing zones
- Forest Planting — planting native trees, shrubs, and ground cover
- Gravel Work — spreading, leveling, and compacting gravel for paths or parking areas
- Weeding & Bed Cleanup — hand weeding, weed-barrier placement, mulching
- Tractor Work — assisting with tractor-based clearing, grading, or hauling
- Fence Repair — replacing boards, tightening posts, patching wire sections
- Blackberry Removal — cutting, digging roots, hauling debris, applying control methods
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Experience with landscaping tools, small machinery, or tractors preferred
- Comfort with basic construction or repair tasks
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
