HavenStone Advisory is a fast-growing U.S. tax firm serving $1M–$10M business owners in HVAC, roofing, and construction. We're scaling a short-form content engine (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, paid ads) and we need an editor who controls retention, not just transitions. If you watch a video and instantly know why people dropped off at second six, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Edit 10–20 vertical videos per month (under 60 seconds each) from a script + reference video we provide
- Own pacing, on-screen text, captions, b-roll, and light motion graphics
- Deliver fast turnarounds and incorporate direct feedback quickly
Requirements
- Portfolio that is at least 50% short-form vertical content (not YouTube long-form clips)
- Experience editing for service or coaching businesses (accounting, law, agencies, consulting), not e-commerce/commercial-style work
- Clean, natural style: light motion graphics yes, heavy CGI no
- Clear English communication and reliable availability
- Coachable: you take a note once and never need it twice
Pay & growth
Start per-video, so your output drives your income. Perform, and volume increases. Prove you're the one, and we move you to a fixed monthly retainer with guaranteed videos. We're expanding into paid ads, our best editor will never run out of work.
How to apply (this is the first test)
1. Portfolio link is mandatory. No portfolio = not reviewed.
2. Include your best-performing video, its view count, and 2–3 sentences on why your editing made it perform.
3. Confirm your availability (10–20 videos/month, starting now) and your rate per video.
