HomeField East Valley, formerly known as Priority Pumping, is hiring a Pump Truck Technician (CDL) to join our growing field team.
We are a leading provider of septic pumping, grease trap service, septic inspections, and wastewater system maintenance across the East Valley.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, solving real-world problems, and being part of a skilled trade.
This is a local CDL position where you are home every night.
What You Will Do
- Pump residential septic tanks
- Pump grease traps and commercial wastewater tanks
- Locate, dig, and expose septic tanks when necessary
- Operate pump trucks and related equipment
- Transport wastewater to disposal facilities
- Perform septic system inspections and document findings
- Complete job reports and service documentation
- Perform daily truck inspections and equipment checks
Technicians will also be trained to become ADEQ Certified Septic Inspectors for real estate transactions and system evaluations.
Equipment You Will Use
- Pump trucks and vacuum systems
- Locating equipment and inspection cameras
- Mini excavators and digging equipment when required
- Hand tools and service equipment
FLEX Schedule – Weekend Availability Required
This position is designed as a FLEX field position, with the schedule primarily focused on Wednesday through Sunday.
Training Period:
For approximately the first month, training will take place primarily Monday through Friday alongside our experienced field team. Training hours and days may vary based on workload and training needs.
After Training:
The regular schedule will transition to a FLEX schedule, generally Wednesday through Sunday, with weekend availability being an essential part of this position.
Typical field hours begin around 6:00 AM and vary based on daily workload, customer demand, and route volume. Earlier start times may occasionally be required.
Because this is a FLEX position, scheduled days may adjust based on business needs and weekly hours. Monday shifts may be available or scheduled when additional hours are needed following the weekend.
This position is ideal for someone who appreciates a flexible schedule, is comfortable working weekends, and wants the opportunity to pick up additional hours as workload allows.
You are home every night. No overnight CDL routes.
Minimum Requirements
- CDL Class A or B required
- Tanker endorsement required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona heat and varying weather conditions
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Weekend availability required
Preferred Experience
- Septic pumping or wastewater service
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience in plumbing, construction, utilities, or home services
No septic experience required. We will train the right candidate.

Compensation & Performance Pay
This position includes the opportunity to earn performance-based pay in addition to your regular hourly compensation.
During your approximately 30-day training period, you will focus on learning HomeField's service standards, equipment, processes, safety procedures, and customer experience expectations.
Once training is successfully completed, you will become eligible for our performance pay program, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings based on individual performance and productivity.
