Overview
Micro Tech is seeking a Shipping Associate to join our clients warehouse. This is a Contract-Hire position, $23.00-25.00/Hour DOE. Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00AM to 4:30PM. 45-50 hours a week and OT is mandatory.
Duties
- Safely package product in boxes, long cardboard tubes and wood boxes or pallets for shipment via UPS, Fedex or LTL carriers. Some counting of product required occasionally
- Prepare packing lists, shipping labels and manifests and identify any discrepancies and/or resolve paperwork prior to product leaving building
- Assist with loading and unloading of parcels as needed---ability to lift up to 50# unassisted is a requirement
- Keep workspace clean and organized, including restocking of shipping materials
Skills
- Shipping experience
- Experience utilizing FedEx/UPS Shipping software
