Overview
The Care Advocate plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support throughout their healthcare journey. This is a part-time position with room to grow. The Care Advocate should be a compassionate individual who can navigate multiple software systems, advocate for patient needs, and collaborate effectively with the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chiropractic care, and possess the skills necessary to manage patient cases efficiently.
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing guidance and support throughout their care process.
- Sending intake assessments to gather relevant patient information and determine care needs.
- Using Neurological Scan technology to gather much needed data to help determine patient needs.
- Report to both Chiropractor and Office Manager.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Advocate for patients by addressing barriers to care, coordinating services, and ensuring access to necessary resources.
- Engage with patients and their families during appointments.
- Offer world class customer service.
- Work closely with chiropractor to ensure optimal results for patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous CA experience with a chiropractic office desired.
- Experience in pediatrics or behavioral health is a plus.
- Strong understanding of chiropractic principles and patient service protocols.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families during challenging times. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of care provided to patients while ensuring they receive the support they need during their treatment journey.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
