Little Angels strives to hire the best-in-class Learning Center Site Director. We are looking for individuals who possess a genuine passion for connecting and caring for young children and a strong set of communication and interpersonal skills. Little Angels Learning Center is seeking a certified individual with a B.A. in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field. Must have a strong passion and genuine joy of teaching young children. Little Angels is a small community-based child care center in the Englewood community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Leadership and Management, Program Oversight, Family Engagement, and Administrative and Financial Duties.
-Attend and participate in trainings and appropriate professional development activities.
Required Experience:
- B.A. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a Master's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and licensing standards (e.g., ExceleRate Illinois, Head Start, NAEYC)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all health and safety requirements
- Must be able to move about the center, lift up to 40 lbs, and respond quickly to emergencies
- Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and interaction with children and staff

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
