This position works independently or as part of a team to complete contracted scopes of work, coordinate on-site activities, and ensure jobsite organization and cleanliness.
Experienced Craftsmen may also assist in training, mentoring, and developing less experienced team members while supporting field leadership in maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform construction and restoration work including, but not limited to:
- Drywall installation and repair
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Masonry
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical
- Tile installation and repair
- Execute assigned scopes of work safely, efficiently, and with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Coordinate on-site logistics and maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate project expectations, progress updates, timeline changes, and scope concerns to Production Supervisors.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and uphold Spangler Restoration standards, protocols, and quality control measures.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address field challenges in real time.
- Support and mentor junior team members by sharing skills, best practices, and safe work methods when appropriate.
- Assist field leadership with quality assurance and jobsite coordination as needed.
Qualifications
· 3–7+ years of hands-on construction experience.
· Strong understanding of industry-standard building practices.
· Working knowledge of adjacent trades and construction methods.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency with construction tools and safe operating procedures.
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to train and support less experienced craftsmen preferred.
· Possession of relevant trade tools.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Consent to a background check.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
· Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
