Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and patient care during night shifts in a post-acute and long-term care setting in Athens, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a stable overnight schedule and the ability to practice with autonomy and confidence.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care during overnight hours.
Perform resident assessments and exercise independent clinical judgment.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and provider orders.
Respond to overnight clinical issues, changes in condition, and emergent situations.
Coordinate care with on-call providers and facility leadership as needed.
Supervise and support LVNs and CNAs as applicable.
Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Required
Active, unencumbered Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Ability to work consistent overnight shifts.
Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.
Prior overnight or charge nurse experience.
