Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, air conditioning, suspension, wiring, and minor transmissions repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs such as drivability complaints, engine work, light welding, and component replacements.
- Research and interpret technical manuals and schematics to correctly troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Service vehicles by replacing parts, adjusting systems, and performing routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members and management to estimate repair times and communicate findings clearly to customers for transparent service experiences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and appearance while adhering to safety standards during repair procedures.
Skills
- Experience with a strong background in automotive trouble shooting, and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrains, transmissions, engines, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately for complex repairs.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
