Position Summary
As our sanitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the Master Sanitation Program. This will include cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and performing routine upkeep of facilities as directed by your supervisor. This essential role is vital to keeping our systems in excellent condition while providing excellent quality goods to our customers and brand fans.
Primary Responsibilities
● Disassemble production equipment: clean, rinse, and sanitize all product contact machinery utilizing all required PPE equipment.
● Responsible for the formulation and dispensing of plant cleaning chemicals, caustics, and acids, performing sanitation tasks and CIP (Clean In Place) as required.
● Reassemble production equipment after cleaning and sanitizing.
● Application of cleaning chemicals to plant equipment and structures in the production area by using manual hand tools to ensure sanitation effectiveness.
● Ensure the opening and securing of guards, various equipment, and piping are up to standard during the sanitation process.
● Perform the necessary maintenance and sanitation as it related to equipment, facilities, and grounds.
● Able to operate equipment pertaining to sanitation (forklifts, etc.).
● Must be able to successfully use basic math, writing and reading skills necessary to complete required paperwork and projects.
Basic Requirements
● 1+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing, military or related environment
● This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 11am-7:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
