Join a well-established auto repair shop with 41 years in business. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Service Writer with experience in an independent repair shop.
Responsibilities:
· Find parts through on-line parts catalogs, including classic cars.
· Generate labor times using estimating software.
· Clearly communicate with customer and explain inspection terms.
Requirements:
· Complete understanding of major automotive systems.
· Proficiency in automotive estimating.
· Excellent sales skills.
· ASE certifications are a plus.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise across all major automotive systems to effectively review technician inspections. The position includes sourcing parts and, when needed, contact customers by phone.
