Overview
Construction MediCamp LLC, a nationwide medical consulting group that specializes in providing medical services to the construction industry to oversee most medical occurrences that arise on-site.
Responsibilities
Our company has a new position available for a Outpatient Nurse Practitioners in Wheatfield, IN 2 days per week Monday and Tuesday and Sundays as needed by the client
This is a contract position for approximately 2 yrs in length with possible extensions. 2 days of training are required and will be provided for all new hires.
Licensure and DOT Certification reimbursements are available for all APRN's who do not currently hold a certification or an APRN license in Indiana.
Facility is a low volume outpatient on - site medical clinic where Nurse Practitioners will primarily treat adult patients. Patient care involves DOT physicals, treating primary care issues, and occasional occupational injury/illness.
This position is a contract only. For the right candidates, Construction Medicamp will consider flexible scheduling. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm (possibly 6a - 6p) with the occasional overtime, Saturdays and Sundays as needed by the client.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner - Preferred
Active/Unrestricted Indiana Advanced Practice Nursing License
Willing to assist with licensing and cost of licensing
Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care
Previous experience in Occupational Medicine or ER as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
Comfortable and able to work independently in a solo environment
CDL, Medical Examiner's Certificate required either before starting assignment or within 2 weeks of clinic start date. Employer assistance in certification available if not already obtained.
