Assistant Teacher – Infants & Toddlers

Little Bear Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Assistant Teacher to support both our Infant and Toddler classrooms.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with younger children and is comfortable helping in multiple classrooms throughout the day. We are looking for a team player who can provide nurturing care, support classroom routines, and help create a safe and engaging environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teachers in daily classroom routines and activities
- Support both Infant and Toddler classrooms as needed
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Interact positively with children through play, care routines, and learning activities
- Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap routines
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions
- Help supervise children and ensure safety at all times
- Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership

Qualifications
- Previous childcare experience preferred
- Wisconsin Registry credentials (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced childcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
