Interviewers are trained to maintain project databases, telephonic/email follow-up, and conduct interviews utilizing a trauma-informed approach, and assure accurate data entry of survey data. An Interviewer’s primary responsibility is data collection. Interviewers also provide administrative support, utilizing and maintaining all paper and electronic systems, including the online survey system, excel databases, email, calendaring, and all other authorized applications and other administrative support services. Other tasks may be assigned as needed. Mastery of interviewing and data entry skills must be demonstrated before advancing to another position. This position contributes to Montgomery County’s quality improvement of services. Therefore, collaboration with other teams within HopeWorx as well as other organizations/ workgroups within the community is essential to the function of the C/FST program.
LOCATION: Hybrid: Primarily remote with some in-community work
- While this is a Hybrid-Remote position, only applicants residing in or around Montgomery County, PA will be considered.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Research
· Using questionnaires, conduct interviews via telephone, in person, online, or mail surveys in mass volumes across multiple projects sometimes in hospital settings.
· Together with other team members, meet with the service providers represented in each survey to introduce the survey and arrange for any assistance needed to facilitate youth, adult, and parent/caregiver participation.
· Assist in developing survey tools to gain individual and/or family perspective on behavioral health services.
· Input online version of survey into SurveyMonkey.
· Assist in data entry, maintaining C/FST databases, and organizing of shared program files, as needed.
· Follow protocol when identifying and reporting advocacy concerns to program director and the county.
· Apply a Strengths-Based, Appreciative Inquiry, Trauma-Informed Approach to all aspects of C/FST projects.
Written and Oral Reports
· May be required to assist in preparation of written Quarterly and Annual reports for the county, as necessary.
Outreach/Advocacy
· Assist in identifying parents, caregivers and youth or adults with behavioral health challenges or experience with services to participate in activities related to the goals of the program. Facilitates resource referral to FamilyWorx team when appropriate.
· Conduct outreach to members of the community, other organizations and systems, service providers, other healthcare providers, mental/behavioral health advocacy groups, and state policy makers.
· Increase opportunities to expand outreach efforts in the community including participation in local festivals, community/county meetings, and other events.
Other
· Must identify as having lived experience navigating the behavioral health system either as a youth, adult, or parent/caregiver of a child receiving services.
· Comply with all other established quality and regulatory standards, including supervision and training requirements; attend and actively participates in staff, program and division meetings and assists with other program/agency duties as assigned. Attends relevant workshops, conferences, committee meetings, and county meetings as requested by director.
· Understand and practice awareness and sensitivity to cultural and language differences by treating all persons with respect, dignity, and self-determination.
· Possess up-to-date Child Abuse and Criminal Background Clearances.
