Responsibilities
- Administer botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and other injectable procedures with precision and care.
- Perform esthetic laser treatments, chemical peels, and dermabrasion to improve skin health and appearance.
- Provide expert skincare consultations, recommending appropriate treatments and products tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols and adhere to safety standards during all procedures to ensure client safety.
- Manage client appointments efficiently using salon or med spa software such as Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring a smooth flow of services.
- Engage with clients through social media management and product demos to promote services and build lasting relationships.
- Upsell retail products and additional treatments confidently while maintaining excellent guest services.
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling, client check-in, and answering inquiries with professionalism.
- Stay current on industry trends such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, body waxing, tattooing, hair extensions, makeup application, and barbering techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on esthetic or medical spa treatments.
- Certification in injection administration for botulinum toxin and dermal fillers; state licensing if applicable.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and other advanced skin care procedures.
- Strong management skills including appointment scheduling, retail sales, social media management, and guest services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about treatment options confidently.
- Familiarity with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for booking and client management.
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and safety during all procedures.
- Experience with body waxing, eyelash extensions, nail care, hair styling or extensions is a plus.
- Knowledge of color theory, makeup application, straight razor shaving, deep tissue massage or hospitality experience is advantageous.
