Overview
We're looking for organized, responsible and enthusiastic individuals with previous food service experience and good leadership skills to join our team at the Steele Creek Palm Berries location as shift leaders! Shift leaders are responsible for leading store operations during their shift and helping store management make sure that things run smoothly each day. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as team captain during your shift to make sure things run smoothly
- Support and oversee co-workers, and delegate duties as needed
- Help monitor inventory, including quality and volume of fruit cut daily
- Ensure fellow employees are following company guidelines and policies, and that health policies and safety standards are upheld during shift
- Make sure smoothies and bowls are made correctly and in a timely manner, and that customers are satisfied.
- Handle any customer complaints and report to management.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, & food prep areas
- Prep fresh fruit & maintain ingredient quality
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly & helpful attitude
Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills and desire to set positive example for fellow coworkers
- Previous food service experience
- Ability to oversee multiple things at once
- Reliable transportation and ability to assist with trips to grocery store as needed
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, & ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work one or more of the following shifts (Saturday and Sunday availability preferred):
- Morning: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Compensation
- Starting pay: $12/hour
- Plus tips (Additional $2-$4/hour)
