Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for guests while ensuring all rooms and public areas meet hotel standards. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities as needed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and surfaces
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Ensure rooms are prepared and ready for guest check-in in a timely manner
- Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently
- Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment in an organized manner
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with front desk and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
