Amergis Staffing is looking to hire an Mod/Severe Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to special education students, Kindergarten through grade 12, through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff. This position is for the current 2026-2027 school year!What We Offer Monday-Friday (between the hours of 7:30am-4pm) Starting pay - $50 up to $60 / hour (negotiable) Travel Package available if eligible 35-40 hours a week full time or part time Medical, Dental, Vision benefits availableResponsibilities Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members. Designs instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum. Serves as the coordinator of IEP implementation with general education staff.
Monitors student progress, participates in review and revision of students IEP, as appropriate. Other Special Education Teacher related duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university with an emphasis in appropriate field.
