Position Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at an on-site employee health clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a part-time, independent contractor role—ideal for a clinician who thrives in a preventive care environment and enjoys fostering long-term relationships that improve employee health and well-being.
What You’ll Do
As a TargetCare NP/PA, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting health and preventing disease in the workforce. You will:
- Provide clinical assessments, screenings, and treatment for minor worksite health concerns.
- Identify risk factors for chronic disease and guide employees in lifestyle modification and disease prevention.
- Deliver individualized health education and coaching in areas such as nutrition, fitness, stress management, and chronic condition management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold TargetCare’s standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Collaborate with TargetCare’s multidisciplinary team to enhance employee health outcomes and organizational wellness culture.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a professional who is not only clinically skilled but also passionate about prevention and wellness. The ideal candidate:
- Holds an active license in the state of Indiana.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventive education.
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Is comfortable working independently and exercising sound clinical judgment.
- Is proficient in phlebotomy.
- Maintains (or is willing to obtain) professional liability insurance.
