Job Summary
Our growing family of independent insurance agencies is seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our Hudson, NH office. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional capable of managing both Personal Lines (PL) and Commercial Lines (CL) business while contributing to the continued expansion of our commercial portfolio.
As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for writing, servicing, and renewing insurance policies across a diverse client base. You will also manage an established book of commercial business and play a key role in strengthening client relationships, developing new opportunities, and supporting agency growth.
We represent over 30 top-rated insurance carriers, providing you with the tools and flexibility needed to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, service, and renew Personal and Commercial Lines insurance policies
- Manage and maintain an existing commercial book of business
- Identify opportunities to grow commercial lines revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrier underwriters, and agency partners
- Collaborate with internal staff to ensure a high level of service and client satisfaction
- Report directly to the agency owner
Qualifications
- Experience in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines strongly preferred
- Proven relationship-building and client service skills
- Strong reputation within the insurance industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and colleagues
Compensation & Work Environment
- Salary range: $45,000 – $95,000 (based on experience and qualifications) + commission
- Primarily in-office position in Hudson, NH, with flexibility for occasional remote work
Requirements
High School Diploma required, NH P&C license, College Degree and insurance designations a plus. A background of successful account management and proven past book of business growth is preferred. Knowledge of most of our insurance carriers is most attractive as well as being proficient with AMS360. At least two years of current independent insurance agent experience is required.
