Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer for a remote consulting engagement supporting enterprise network and cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and Azure Networking.
The consultant will support enterprise networking environments, cloud migration initiatives, hybrid connectivity, and network modernization projects.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus
- Strong experience with Cisco ACI
- VMware NSX experience
- Azure Networking and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity
- Routing, Switching, Segmentation, and Network Security
- Enterprise Data Center Networking experience
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise network environments
- Support Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and connectivity issues
- Implement and support VMware NSX solutions
- Review and optimize network architecture for performance and security
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer
Preferred Qualifications
- FinTech / Banking / Financial Services experience preferred
- Experience supporting Azure migration initiatives
- Consulting or fractional engineering experience preferred
- Experience in secure and regulated environments
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP
- CCIE
- Cisco Data Center Certifications
- Cisco ACI Certifications
