We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. ```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including X-rays and laboratory tests
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor patients during surgeries and recovery
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up instructions to pet owners
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Assist with grooming services, such as bathing and nail trimming
- Handle animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
```Qualifications```
-Experience of 3 years or more working in small animal clinic.
-Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and veterinary critical care
- Experience working with small animals
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during procedures
- Familiarity with kennel operations and dog training methods is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience placing IVC and administering IV medications and fluids
