Job Title: Dental Treatment Coordinator
As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between our patients and their dental care journey. Your role will encompass checking in patients, managing treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication, and providing exceptional service that keeps our patients smiling. You’ll coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate care while navigating insurance processes and maintaining accurate records. What you’ll do
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure clear communication with patients
- Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
- Maintain accurate medical records using CareStack
- Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide administrative support by answering multi-line phone systems and addressing patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in the collection of payments
- Collaborate with the dental team to create personalized care plans that meet each patient's unique needs.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of dental terminology
- Understanding of dental procedures and coding
Preferred qualifications
- Bilingual abilities to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices, CDT 2025
