Role Overview:
As a Material Handler Utility Operator, your primary focus is the secure removal of completed items from production lines and the efficient movement of stock across the site via forklift or Combi lift. You will be instrumental in the success of our shipping and production workflows by maintaining an orderly staging process for all outgoing goods.
Core Tasks:

Utilize forklifts or Combi lifts with a focus on operational safety and productivity.

Transfer completed goods from production zones to the appropriate storage or dispatch locations.

Help streamline outbound logistics by effectively organizing and staging finished inventory.

Handle the loading, unloading, and stacking of various materials as the workflow demands.

Conduct routine equipment checks to identify and escalate any maintenance or safety issues.

Support inventory accuracy by ensuring all items are stored in their correct, designated spots.

Adhere strictly to all organizational safety protocols and operational standards to protect the team.

Collaborate clearly with production staff and leadership to facilitate seamless daily operations.

Ensure the workspace remains tidy and hazard-free to promote a safe environment for everyone.
Requirements:

Prior experience operating Combi lifts or forklifts is a plus.

Capable of performing tasks both autonomously and within a collaborative group setting.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in interpreting and executing both spoken and written directives.

Operational Setting:

Duties are carried out in both interior and exterior environments.

Expect varying levels of noise, ranging from intermittent to constant.

Be prepared for elevated temperatures within the facility during summer months.

Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times.

Collaborate with management to verify you are equipped with the correct PPE for your specific station.
Physical Demands:
