Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management regulations, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, coordinating with maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements related to property management.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict management in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and legal administrative tasks using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and improvements while managing budgets effectively.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial status for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and office management tasks.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to resolve tenant issues amicably.
- Familiarity with CMMS software or similar property management tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
