Haven West Palm Beach is seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our clinical team at our inpatient substance abuse treatment center. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a detox and/or residential behavioral health setting. We encourage Master’s-level clinicians, Florida Registered Interns, and fully licensed therapists to apply.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients receiving inpatient substance abuse treatment.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical assessments.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with medical, nursing, and support staff.
- Provide crisis intervention and support clients experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
- Assist with discharge and aftercare planning to promote continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Florida Registered Interns and fully licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
- Previous detox, residential, or inpatient behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
