Ohio Star Forge is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Engineer to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, supporting customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) evaluations and submissions for customer requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Datamyte Data Collection System on a weekly basis while generating quality reports for department managers.
- Monitor manufacturing quality performance and report critical quality concerns to the Quality Manager and other members of management.
- Serve as a primary quality contact for customers by investigating, communicating, and resolving quality-related issues.
- Perform failure analysis and evaluations on suspect products to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate evaluations with third-party testing laboratories and outside service providers when required.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams focused on quality, process improvement, and waste reduction.
- Analyze quality data and identify trends to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
- Support corrective and preventive action activities (CAPA) through root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and applicable industry requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Customer Service to ensure quality expectations are consistently achieved.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or forging environment preferred.
- Experience with PPAP, root cause analysis, and quality systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality data collection systems is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
