Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead to join our construction team. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews in metal building erection, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, siding, plastering, stucco, and remodeling projects.
- Interpret and implement construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately.
- Coordinate heavy equipment operation and manage the use of power tools and hand tools to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee the installation of metal stud framing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodwork to meet precise dimensional measurements.
- Ensure proper interpretation of technical drawings for tasks such as concrete forming, roofing systems, siding installation, and restoration projects.
- Maintain safety standards on-site by enforcing protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage project schedules and resources effectively while communicating progress with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control inspections on all work performed to guarantee adherence to construction plans and specifications.
- Facilitate troubleshooting on-site issues related to schematics or technical drawings promptly to minimize delays.
- Promote teamwork by mentoring crew members in best practices for masonry, welding, woodworking, framing, plastering, and other trades involved in the project.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection and concrete forming.
- Extensive hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, roofing systems, siding installation, and stucco application.
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently within a construction environment.
- Familiarity with carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, drywall installation (including plastering), woodwork craftsmanship, and dimensional measurements.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy lifting operations and site safety protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse construction teams across multiple projects.
- Ability to read technical schematics for electrical or plumbing components when applicable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving on-site challenges swiftly.
