About the Opportunity
RAMSGov Corporation is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support healthcare services at the Wolf Creek Job Corps Center in Glide, Oregon. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing services to students in accordance with federal standards, established clinical protocols, and Job Corps policies.
This position is contingent upon RAMSGov Corporation being awarded the federal contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to students.
- Perform health assessments and nursing evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, mental health professionals, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate students on health promotion, wellness, and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Job Corps healthcare requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance and infection control activities.
- Perform other nursing duties as required by the contract.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon, or ability to obtain Oregon licensure before the start of employment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in occupational health, school health, correctional health, military, public health, or community health.
- Experience working with adolescents or young adults.
- Previous experience supporting federal, state, or institutional healthcare programs.
