Materials Specialist to join their growing team!
1st Shift
Pay is based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate issuance of alloy to the foundry on a daily basis.
- Perform physical alloy inventories as needed.
- Process and segregate revert.
- Maintain alloy and revert cribs in terms of segregation/organization and general cleanliness of the area.
- Cut and weld changes as needed.
- Maintain the master heat database for production, P/N’s and engineering special lots.
- Clean pipe in ingots as needed.
- Act as back-up for other alloy technicians.
- Assist Foundry with supplies inventory control.
Qualifications:
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be well organized and able to self direct daily activities.
- Capable of strenuous physical activity associated to revert and alloy handling.
- Must be capable of handling ingots of up to 100 pounds.
- Tow motor experience preferred.
- Successful candidate must be capable of being on call for alloy related issues, have flexibility in hours and available for weekend coverage as foundry cast schedule dictates.
