Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated <PERSON> to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Erect metal buildings and frameworks using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring structural integrity.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation to create durable foundations and structures.
- Execute masonry tasks such as bricklaying, plastering, stucco application, and siding installation with precision.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to assist with framing, roofing, siding, and restoration projects.
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and perform dimensional measurements for precise cuts and placements.
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret technical instructions for framing, metal stud framing, and other construction activities.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling and assist with demolition or remodeling tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on site management tasks including scheduling, quality control, and safety inspections.
Skills
- Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, or remodeling projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety procedures.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, drywall work (including plastering), and trim carpentry.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws (including power tools), tape measures, levels, and other essential equipment.
- Experience operating heavy machinery safely in a construction environment.
- Excellent basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.
- Familiarity with woodworking techniques including framing and dimensional measurements.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long shifts.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on busy job sites.
