Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Repack / Packing Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for repacking and preparing parts for shipment, completing inventory adjustments, and ensuring products and inventory records remain accurate.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable using computers and warehouse systems, and can maintain accuracy while performing hands-on, physically active work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack and repack parts according to shipping and inventory requirements.
- Ensure products are properly packaged and prepared for shipment.
- Inspect packaged materials for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate product counts throughout the repacking process.
- Use computer systems to complete inventory adjustments.
- Follow established inventory procedures to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with warehouse documentation and inventory tracking.
- Support receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Prioritize assigned tasks and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems.
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Steel-toe boots are required.
Working Conditions:
- Physically active and labor-intensive warehouse environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to periodically lift and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
- Position may involve handling materials and working in conditions where employees can expect to get dirty or sweaty.
- Required use of steel-toe boots and other appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to safely and efficiently perform physical duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
