Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association (HVCPA) serves members of the community, including those experiencing disabilities or those who may not have the means to secure quality health care or support services. The agency programs include residential, clinical, and advocacy services, as well as adult day programs and early childhood programs.
Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association is currently hiring for a per diem Personal Care Aides (PCA) at our residential location in Brewster, NY to assist individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries.
Primary responsibilities of a Personal Care Aide include:
- Assist with personal care needs for individuals (dressing, bathing, etc.).
- Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and assistance to individuals and families.
- Assist individuals in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Job requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification is required
Caregiving experience is preferred
Experience with special need’s population is preferred
Pay range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
