We are seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team and make a lasting impact in the lives of children diagnosed with autism and related developmental disabilities.
As an RBT, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help children build communication, social, adaptive, and play skills while reducing challenging behaviors in a supportive and engaging environment. At Empowering Minds, we prioritize collaboration, growth, and creating a workplace where both our clients and staff can succeed.
What You'll Do
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs using evidence-based ABA strategies.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions in the clinic, home, school, or community settings.
- Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills through naturalistic and structured teaching methods.
- Utilize behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive alternatives.
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behavior during each session.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and fellow team members to ensure consistency and high-quality care.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards, including HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
- Foster meaningful relationships with clients and celebrate their progress every step of the way.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current RBT certification preferred; however, we welcome motivated candidates interested in obtaining certification.
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to pass required background screenings.
