We’re looking for a dependable and team-oriented Cook I to prepare food in accordance with production requirements, brand standards, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Prepare menu items according to recipes, guest requests, and brand standards

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen

Properly store, label, and rotate food products

Assist with requisitions, inventory, and receiving deliveries

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
-
Coordinate with kitchen leadership and other hotel departments
-
Promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
-
Support buffet, banquet, and event preparation as needed
-
Deliver professional, courteous service to guests and team members alike
-
High School diploma or equivalent required
-
Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards preferred
Core Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards

Ability to read recipes and follow instructions accurately

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens, slicers, mixers, steamers, and grills

Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Ability to work in both climate-controlled and extreme temperature environments, including kitchens and freezers

Must be able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the kitchen efficiently

Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion required

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and push equipment up to 250 lbs.
