Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices
- Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic repair skills beneficial for troubleshooting minor issues
- Familiarity with industrial or large-scale cleaning environments is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough completion of all duties
