Lauth Communities is looking for a Property Manager to lead Burkart Crossing in Seymour, Indiana. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of property operations—from leasing and resident experience to team leadership, financial performance, and maintaining a community residents are proud to call home.
What You'll Do
As Property Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the community and serve as the primary leader for the property.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of on-site team members
- Oversee leasing activity, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention
- Monitor market conditions and recommend rental rates and strategies to support occupancy and financial goals
- Maintain strong curb appeal and overall property standards
- Conduct property, move-in, move-out, and unit inspections
- Monitor delinquency, collections, and other resident account matters
- Develop creative marketing strategies and stay informed about the local competitive market
- Build positive relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and community partners
- Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize service requests, apartment turns, and property needs
- Review invoices, vendor activity, and property expenses
- Monitor property performance, budgets, financial reports, and monthly variances
- Complete required operational and performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate resident events and help create a strong sense of community
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Property Manager who is organized, approachable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of the property's performance.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous multifamily property management experience
- Experience leading and developing an on-site team
- Strong leasing, customer service, and resident relations skills
- Understanding of property financials, budgeting, collections, and operational reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing and property management compliance requirements
- Experience with property management software; RealPage experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation

Pay: $50,039.28 - $60,262.36 per year
