```Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Captain to join our team. As a Boat Captain, you will be responsible for safely operating and managing our 2012 30 ft. Island Hopper Dive boat ensuring the safety of passengers and crew, and providing an exceptional experience for all on board. We run daily shark dives, private charters, regular dive charters on a case by case basis.
Pay will de determined during hiring process. Pay is PER TRIP, NOT PER DAY
Shark dives daily 7:00am-12:30pm
Shark Snorkels 1:45pm-5pm
private charters crew must be flexible on departure and arrival times
Duties:
- Safely operate and navigate boats in various water conditions
- Manage and oversee all aspects of boat operations
- Ensure the safety of passengers and crew at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience
- Maintain and inspect boats regularly to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with passengers, crew, and other staff members
Requirements:
- Valid USCG Boat Captain's license
- Proven experience as a Boat Captain or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle any boat-related issues
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Physical stamina to work long hours on the water
- must be willing to participate in a drug consortium
