Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team at Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc. in Lubbock, TX. As an independent insurance agency, we operate as a team with a shared goal of being part of the solution—helping clients protect what matters most and achieve their financial goals. We prioritize strong relationships within our team, with our clients and community, and with the companies we represent. This full-time, licensed sales role involves providing personalized insurance solutions while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong sales and communication skills and a passion for helping others. Bilingual candidates and those with experience in outside sales, negotiation, or retail sales are highly encouraged to apply. To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license
- 3 years of more insurance experience is preferred
- Must have the ability to commute to our Lubbock, TX office location (this is an in-office position)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish new relationships with potential clients and sign them up for insurance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral partners.
- Cultivate relationships and cross-sell additional lines of insurance.
Sales Activities:
- Networking at professional organizations, association meetings, and mixers.
- Complete necessary paperwork and input information into the software system after a sale.
- Taking care of inbound calls
- Attend networking events and support local and community events.
Professional and Personal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Self-starter, driven, and able to manage rejection well.
- Confident, energetic, and enthusiastic with a sense of humor.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience with a CRM
- Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, ethical, and honest.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
