We are seeking a Float Teacher to support teachers and children between classrooms and two childcare centers. It would support breaks, scheduled time offs and sick calls. The ability to work up to 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Shifts would be varied, but always between 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and no longer than 8 hours. Working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. This role would get 2 full weeks of hands-on training.
Duties:
- Provide support to the Teachers in the classroom
- Foster a positive learning environment for children
- Float between classrooms and centers as needed.
- Coordinate extracurricular activities
- Stay updated on current educational trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills. This person will be working with the Owner of both centers. They will get to know all the teachers, parents and children so we want to ensure that it is a good personality match!
- Ability to be flexible.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
