American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Cardiology Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of strong cardiac background and an active MA RN license.
-
24-bed Medical Cardiology unit in a hospital setting
-
Telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused patient population including post-cath care (PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation)

Proficiency in TR Band and femoral approach required

Patient ratio: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
-
Rotating day/evening/night shifts with every other weekend required

36 hours per week

13-week contract

Epic EMR used for charting
-
UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping

Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only; no other providers accepted)

Current AHA ACLS certification required (AHA only; no other providers accepted)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience with a strong cardiac background

Minimum 2 years of travel nurse experience required

Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Ability to perform and manage cardiac drips

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

2 professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, post-cath care, and cardiac drip management on a Medical Cardiology unit
